  • Karen Silberman, Ed.D., LEP

    CEO

    Dr. Karen Silberman leads the team at Psymark after a long career in education serving as a teacher, school psychologist and special education director. Throughout her career in public education, she has worked with underserved populations. She is also a licensed educational psychologist and received her doctorate in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in School Psychology. Karen has presented at numerous conferences including AOTA, NASP, and CASP. In her spare time, Karen enjoys traveling, swimming, and Sunday brunch with the New York Times.

  • David Khudaverdyan

    CTO

    David Khudaverdyan is a software engineer for a large animation studio whose work has been recognized through multiple film credits. He has extensive experience in information technology, computer security, and application development across multiple business and education contexts. He presents at computer security conferences, is fluent in multiple computer languages, and is a registered Apple iOS and OS X Developer. In his free time, David enjoys hiking, Japanese snacks and coding late into the night.

  • Dana Khudaverdyan, Ed.D., LEP

    Product

    For the past 20+ years, Dana has worked to promote meaningful outcomes for individuals with learning differences and other life impacting conditions. She has presented at professional conferences, served as president of the Foothill Association of School Psychologists, and conducted research aimed at advancing assessment and practice. Dana is a school psychologist by training, licensed educational psychologist, special education program specialist, test developer and founding partner of Psymark. Dana enjoys hiking and exploring new trails, languages and spending time with family and friends.

  • Randy Fall, Ph.D.

    Research

    Randy Fall is a professor at Azusa Pacific University. He holds a Ph.D.. in Educational Psychology from UCLA as well as PPS credentials in school counseling and school psychology. Randy teaches courses in psychoeducational assessment and research methods, and chairs doctoral dissertations. Randy’s research agenda includes large-scale and individual assessment, and sociocultural approaches to cognition. He has published a number of journal articles and chapters, and presents frequently at research conferences. Randy also has experience as a school psychologist and consultant for several school districts in southern California. Randy’s favorite things include Russian novels, old-school punk music, church and time with his family.

  • Laura Parker

    Operations & Client Services

    Laura Parker is a leader in Business Operations, with extensive experience in Account Management, Project Management, Program Implementation and Operations Management. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially if it involves hiking! She also relishes her time at the beach with a book. When she’s not doing one of those things, she’s always up for movies, movies, movies!

  • Todd Parker

    CFO

    Todd brings over 25 years of experience in Corporate Development, Marketing, Advertising and Media predominantly in the Mobile Sector. He has successfully completed over 150 transactions, both M&A and Business Development with a total value over $10 Billion. In his career Todd has worked for Google, Vodafone, Verizon, AirTouch Communications, and worked with consulting clients Apple Computer, KKR and New Zealand Telecom, and was a founding Team member and investor in 5 start-ups. Todd claims to enjoy attending Zoom calls. He also appreciates spending time with his family, music of all kinds, and helping others with learning differences.

  • Linea Rowe

    Linea is an experienced product leader with a successful career building market-leading products and programs across sectors including education, business, healthcare, and finance. She is the Vice President of Product Design at Berkeley Executive Education, where she partners with Berkeley faculty to design and launch programs on artificial intelligence, innovation, and leadership. Prior to joining Berkeley, Linea managed Pearson Education’s Higher Education Math portfolio and, before that, held product leadership positions at other education and business software companies. In her free time, Linea enjoys climbing mountains—especially in the snow—and exploring European cities in search of the best hidden neighborhood cafés.

  • Jayson Davies, MA, OTR, FAOTA

    Jayson is the creator and owner of the OT Schoolhouse platform, where he supports thousands of school-based occupational therapy practitioners through the OT Schoolhouse Podcast and Newsletter, professional development experiences, resources, and article reviews. Over the last decade, Jayson has guided the OT Schoolhouse to become the go-to online platform for over 15,000 school-based OT practitioners looking to improve their practice through respectful, open-minded, and evidence-based discussions.  In addition to supporting OT professionals, Jayson advises OT students on thesis projects and researches technology use in practice. His work is published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy (AJOT): “Analysis of Artificial Intelligence Adoption Among School‑Based OTs: Insights From the Evidence‑Based Technology Acceptance TAM2 Model.”

    In 2025, Jayson was added to the American Occupational Therapy Association’s (AOTA) Roster of Fellows (FAOTA), recognizing his knowledge, expertise, leadership, advocacy, and guidance to the OT profession.

  • Ann H McCormick, PhD

    A distinguished educator, Ann has influenced millions of children globally. As the Founder, CEO & President of The Learning Company (TLC), she created a new software category and a leading national brand. She led software design for TLC’s first 16 products, including Reader Rabbit (which sold 14M copies) and Rocky’s Boots (a breakthrough circuit design simulation for young children). Then Ann became the Co-Founder, CEO & President of Learning Circle Kids. Her team developed ReaderBee apps for teaching young children to read. These apps won 16 national awards, including the Parent’s Choice Gold Award.  She is now launching an international, lifelong learning online school, 6 Arts Academy.

    Ann has consulted to education leaders from China, Japan, Brazil, Great Britain, Finland and other nations. She was invited by Jim Henson’s Muppet team and George Lucas’ new foundation to envision their ventures. 

    Additionally, Dr. McCormick has raised over $15M in grants, contracts and investment: from the National Science Foundation, the U. S. Department of Education, the Apple Education Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and venture capitalists, including New Enterprise Associates, Mohr Davidow and Greylock.

    Ann earned a PhD at the School of Education at the University of California at Berkeley where they published her dissertation on black dialect and reading. UC Department of Education also invited Ann to give their 100th anniversary commencement address. Her influence in education has been featured on national TV, published in professional journals, and appeared in key publications.

  • Heather Donovan, MA, OTR/L

    Heather Donovan is an occupational therapist who has over 10 years of experience in multiple pediatric settings, including early intervention, sensory-clinic based services, and school-based services. She currently serves as the head occupational therapist for a local school district. In this role she works directly with students with a variety of disabilities and service needs, but also helps train and support staff on the implementation of handwriting curricula and other fine motor and visual motor strategies. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, which includes two young and very active boys.

  • Jose Carranza, J.D., M.S., LEP

    As a licensed Educational Psychologist and certified school psychologist with 23 years of experience serving diverse student populations in school settings, Jose brings a profound understanding of educational assessment. His academic foundation, including a master's degree in School Psychology and nearly a decade teaching Bilingual Assessment in a graduate school psychologist program, combined with a Juris Doctor degree, provides a uniquely comprehensive perspective on psychometric tools, ensuring both validity and cultural sensitivity in evaluations. This extensive background makes him exceptionally qualified to navigate the complexities of assessment in education. While adept at addressing various developmental disorders impacting learning and behavior, Jose’s primary areas of expertise are in Autism Assessments and Bilingual Assessments for English language learners. To maintain a well-rounded and current practice, he is committed to continuous professional development, alongside personal pursuits such as traveling, reading, and playing and coaching soccer.

  • Kimberly Coates, MA, OTR/L

    Kimberly Coates is an occupational therapist, having received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from USC. She has been working as the lead OT in a southern California school district for the past 10 years, having independently developed the district’s first in-house OT program. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with the pediatric special needs population, including autism, intellectual disability, ADHD, specific learning disability, visual impairment, orthopedic impairment, and more. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, photography, and tending to her ever-growing collection of house plants.

  • Michael Salce, Ed.D., LEP

    The Chair of the Department of School Counseling and School Psychology at Azusa Pacific University, Dr. Michael Salce has been teaching at the graduate level within the field for 15 years. Salce received his Doctorate of Education from the University of Southern California in Educational Psychology. He has been a practicing School Psychologist for the past 23 years, and he also consults with districts within the county of Los Angeles regarding the mental health needs of students who receive special education services.
